Hello everyone, I’ve heard that in the past CSUs have released admissions decisions earlier than the usual March notification time period to students who are potential candidates for their honors programs/are strong applicants. Is this true? And if so, when are they usually sent out?

I got accepted yesterday, on “early action”(that’s what it said) but SDSU doesn’t even have early action. Is this because I was a high ranking applicant?

Will SDSU take away my acceptance?
I've recently been admitted into SDSU, but when comparing my transcript to my self report, I noticed that I made a mistake when entering my grades. I said I had in A in both semesters of AP English junior year, when I really had a B the first semester. I contacted them with the problem and they said I remain in Provisional Admission until I submit my final high school transcript, and that they need an unofficial documentation of my transcript to make the change in my self report. Does this mean I'm no longer admitted or under probation? I'm really worried because SDSU is my top school, and I hate to worry myself because I was so happy with my acceptance.

So I got this email and they are telling to enroll. They also tell me to fill out this honor college thing by Jan 15, but I want to keep my options open. If I sign up in the honor college, is that the same thing as enrolling? I want to make my desicion in March after I hear back from all the colleges I applied to.

SDSU Nursing Direct Entry Program With a C in "Advanced Integrated Math III" from Point Loma High
Hello, my son is about to start his Senior Year at Point Loma High in San Diego.
GPA: 4.1 weighted with lots of AP science classes
ACT: 26 with a 27 in math and STEM sections.
EI looks like: 1080
He wants to apply to SDSU Nursing program. But he got a "C" in the second semester of "Advanced Integrated Math III" at Point Loma last year.
He took Honors Geometry in AZ in 9th grade and got: A/A for the two semesters
10th Grade (Point Loma/San Diego): B/A for the two semesters of Integrated Math II
11th Grade (Point Loma/San Diego): B/C for the two semesters of Integrated Math III
This year he is taking two semesters of Pre Calc.
Is he ineligible to even apply for the nursing program because of that C last semester in his math class?

Webers Honors College SDSU
I’ve been given early admission by SDSU and was wondering what my chances are at their honors college (Weber’s Honors College).
My stats are 1330 SAT 3.8UW 3.86W but that’s not taking into account my GPA for senior yr which I will put on my Honors application when it officially comes out in a week, which is a 4.1W.

AidLink SDSU
I’m trying to fill out the student and parent taxes worksheet on AidLink so they can view my finical aid opportunities, but when I get to the parent section it keeps saying, “Sorry error, we may be under maintance check back later”...is this because it’s holiday break or what, cause id assume that the computer system doesn’t stop over break?

OOS student needs help
Hi!
I'm from NC and I calculated my grade for the CSU(10-11) system and I'm not so sure I am doing it right. When I calculated I got a 4.0 CSU GPA and when I checked the website it didn't tell me about all the courses I enrolled in that was eligible.
I just need someone to PM/DM so I can send in my transcripts of the 10-11th grade. I really really need your help.
I know how much the costs are to be a college student in California (no financial aid), etc...

Applicants who haven't been admitted invited to SDSU Merit Scholarship Reception?
Are there any other applicants who haven't been admitted but still invited to this month's Merit Scholarship Reception? D just got the formal invitation . I believe it's normally reserved for applicants who are in the local service area and were given early acceptances. Since D is a Nursing major she has not been admitted. I read that acceptances for Nursing applicants go out end of Feb.
At any rate when we checked with the school about this reception they let us know that parts of it will be specific for admitted students only and as such some of it will not apply to us. Anyone familiar with this reception and what it might mean for a Nursing applicant?

Chances of San Diego State University?
Hello, I am a senior in a college prep high school in Hawaii and as of late I have been stressing over my dream school, San Diego State. Currently I have a 3.62 weighted GPA and a CSU GPA of 3.83. However, my test scores are 1070 for the SAT and 21 for the ACT. I am hopeful that my resume will make my test scores not too much of a factor but I am still extremely worried. I am in 3 honor societies, aced all three of my HL IB classes from junior year, played varsity basketball and football throughout high school, come from a diverse state, and participate in lots of community service events. If someone could please give me some closure it would be greatly appreciated and no need to sugarcoat anything! Thank you!

SDSU Single Dorm as a Freshman???
Hello everyone!
I am looking into San Diego State Uni as a current high school junior ( out-of-state ). It's one of my top schools. I was just wondering if it's possible for a freshman to receive a single dorm room. At my local Uni, it's very, very unlikely that would happen, but maybe it's different for SDSU?
I have some emotional issues and would really love to be in my own dorm.
Any info is appreciated!

GPA calculation??
On the SDSU website, it says that GPA is calculated by using grades from 10-12 but incoming freshmen don't have to send senior year transcripts until after you get admitted. Does that mean gpa is really only calculated using grades from 10-11?

D accepted at San Diego State but found major error on her Cal Apply application.....
My D submitted her Cal Apply application and was granted admission in last month for Fall 2018 term,
Upn reviewing her submitted application I noticed a major error. She put her 9th grade grades in correctly but then put her 10th grade grades in an additional 9th grade section she must have created by accident. Bottom line, her application indicates grades for 9th grade twice and no 10th grade grades at all. We will reach out to the Admissions office but feel certain that her acceptance will be rescinded. Any thoughts?
