I'm planning on going to SDSU and I really wanna rush a sorority but I had a few questions.
If anyone goes to SDSU can you please tell me how competitive it is to get into a sorority? Also, I'm Persian and I'm assuming many middle eastern people don't join sororities so what can I expect when it comes to acceptance? I've heard a few concerning things regarding SDSU sororities and ethnicity.
I would have to pay semester fees to be in the sorority but what are these going to? I won't be living in the sorority house since I have an apartment in San Diego so I wanted to know what exactly I'm paying for (and please don't say "friends").
I was also wondering why rush week is considered so stressful? If someone could give me an overview of what goes on during the week, that'd be great.
Also, are many sororities and fraternities close to each other? Do they hang out a lot together?
I'm not the biggest partier so I'm not sure how that will affect my experience in a sorority.
I've just never really had a solid group of friends that support me unconditionally and that's what I'm looking for.
Any other insight someone could give me on sororities would be amazing.
