SDSU Admission Rescinded Fall 2017

Hi, I'm a transfer student who applied to SDSU in the Fall of 2016, as an intended ISCOR major with an overall 2.7 GPA. I sent my official transcripts around February/March, heard of my acceptance around March/April, and followed the steps for the Intent to Enroll in May, payed the $400 Intent to Enroll fee and was pretty much all set and ready to just maintain my GPA until then. Yesterday I got in the mail that my admission was cancelled at SDSU for the following reason: "Complete the minimum of 60 or more transferrable units by the end of spring 2017". Devastation and all aside, it made absolutely no sense to me because I had around ~67 units completed at the time I applied, not including the classes I'm taking for this semester. Regardless, I've definitely taken more than 60 units and I know they're transferrable because I've met with my counselors to ensure I was on track before applying. I'm currently a student at Palomar College. I'm currently working on a appeal, but I just wanted outside thoughts on my current circumstance and any advice. I'm not sure if I made any mistakes on the self-reporting area of my application or something. I don't know how it wasn't reflected in my transcripts. Any advice on how to approach an appeal with my circumstance?
