AP Scores and Trasnfer

Hi! I was wondering if AP scores are counted in the credit hours for transfer admissions. They say you need 60 hours, so would the AP's be counted in that, or is it ONLY transferrable college courses? I have over 30 hours of AP credit, so this would help immensely! Thank you!!
